My model, who is also my granddaughter, was full of energy to pose the way she likes to pose naturally and show off this project as shown in these pictures below:

*This project was featured also in my crochet designer's profile as "Sassy Little Bathing Suitat All Free Crochet. It's also listed as one among my Top Crochet Projects. It had received negative criticisms from some viewers, while others appreciated this project. I never thought this project would be placed in a controversy.  I both meant to neither promote anything bad about this project nor promote my own granddaughter for anything malicious for other viewers to copy and exploit someone's creativeness for selfish interest.  There's a saying, "You can't please everybody." 1. Your little girl is absolutely darling and I love the way she "strikes a pose", but could you please also show us some close-up pictures of the project so we might see some of the stitches.

  3. Thank you very much for the compliments. I wish I have taken close-up pictures of the stitches, but I'm very sorry I wasn't able to do that. Aside from this, I left the project back home in my country because I couldn't fit anymore all my yarns and other unfinished projects in my baggage suits. I got lots of stuff from friends and family members to bring them with me back here also. I shouldn't have left that special project. I'm really sorry for not being able to grant your request.

  4. I'm sorry. It took me a long time before I got back to this project. When I travelled to my country last January of this year, I didn't forget to get this project from my granddaughter, so I could take a closed-up picture of the stitches as requested. But I have to return this to her again.

  5. I have a Goddaughter that is only 4 months old. I would love to make this for her to wear this summer out by the pool! How can I decrease this to fit a 9-12 month old?

    1. Good day, Rosa. I would like to thank you for liking this project. It really took me a long while to figure out how and I even asked her mother to lend me her daughter's panty as a sample. I had to try on and off my granddaughter also to see how it would fit her. I measured her hips and provided an allowance on both sides including the stitches needed to tie them together. The tie is used to hold the bikini up and adjust it to the size of her hips. For the upper part covering or bra, I measured her upper part around, too, and provided an allowance so to tie the strings at the back. That's how I did it. I can't give a specific number of stitches that need to be reduced as it will depend on how big she will grow up by that time. Have a great day in crocheting.
