Mrs. Jelly Beans' sticky notes --- A Wonderful One-day Trip (Part 3)

A restless night caused me and my daughter not to feel good when we woke up because the time for her to fly back to her family was nearing already.  I know it’s not going to be the end of the world for me and her because we will see each other again sometime.  But the feeling of a mother seeing her daughter go is touching the very bottom of my heart.  I didn’t leave the airport till she passed through the TSA inspection area at DFW International Airport.  She glanced at me and saw her go as she walked away with her hand carry bag afterwards.  Though a little smile on my face showing while she walked away, but in my heart there was something. And then the memories lingered on as I went back home......

During her younger years, I saw her go every morning after she takes a shower and run to play with her cousin in her grandmother’s house.  I saw her go when she first entered her classroom during her primary schooling.  I saw her go when I permitted her already to commute by herself in going to school during her high school and college years.  And the most touching moment I felt -- I saw her go when she walked the aisle during her wedding day and I couldn’t really resist crying that day.  The truth is -- I really hate crying because it makes me look ugly having puffy eyes afterwards. (‘_‘)  Who likes to cry, anyway?  I’m just being human and a mother.

Last Dinner in a Japanese Restaurant

 Last Day of Shopping

The day before she departed, we ate our last dinner together in a Japanese restaurant and had our last day of shopping.  Afterwards, her brother helped her packed her things. There were lots of things to take home for the family. Ooops, her one baggage was almost overweight, so she needed to take some items out.  Oh well, that’s the hardest part of travelling (^_^).  When I travel myself, I feel bothered about this.  That’s why, I make sure my baggage is not overweight before I go to the airport.  I don’t like paying an extra baggage fee or just in case, opening up my baggage and do the transferring of some items from one baggage to another baggage in front of many passengers.  It can cause tension to a traveler who is in hurry to get a boarding pass and delays that can irritate other passengers waiting in line also.

Though time was already limited, my daughter and I were able to have another wonderful one-day trip to a renowned aquarium place called "The Dallas World Aquarium," before her departure date. We saw different kinds of animals like, anteaters, ducks, electric eels,  giant fishes, giant river otters, giant snake (anaconda), sea horses, seaweed dragons, stingrays, sharks, giant crocodiles, birds, monkeys, flamingos, and others as shown below.  There are also different aquarium set ups and represented by different countries like, Fiji, Indonesia, Japan, Lord Howe Island, Solomon Islands, New Guinea, Southern Australia, Sri Lanka, and others. It was really a fascinating and learning experience for both of us, but time was really running short....

They are all amazing and wonderful to look at.  I love them all, especially the different aquariums.  I have my own small aquarium, but I know it is no match to these aquariums that were beautifully set up.  They are natural-looking sceneries of the deepest seas, as represented by different countries.  I just took the chance to let my eyes be mesmerized by this Wonders of Nature -- real God's wonderful creation and goodness.
